“In mid May 2024 I had my home fumigated for termites. I’d contacted a company called ECOLA for this service. The day of the fumigation a sub-contracted company called QUALITY PEST SERVICES,Inc came to actually do the fumigation. Ok, fine I thought. The lead guy named Jose N came into my home to make sure all the food was properly bagged up and that everything was ok for the fumigation process to start. He asked me for my house keys and said he and his crew would finish getting the house all tented up and that my house would be securely locked up before they left. Thinking that this was a reputable company, I left and headed to my hotel, to return a a few days later after the job was done. Jose did call me a couple days later to tell me that the tent was off and that it was safe to return home. He said he would leave my keys with my good neighbor as I had instructed him to do. Well, when I got home I noticed that item were missing from my home. As I searched around, more and more things were gone!!! OMG, my house had been robbed!!!! How could this be?? The house was locked up when I arrived and there were no signs of a break in. The doors were locked and my BARRED windows untouched. I immediately called Jose to ask him if he knew about my missing property. He just said he had no idea what had happened to them and that he and his crew had nothing to do with it. I told him thatI I left HIM with my keys and that my property was there before I left. He repeated not knowing anything and HUNG THE PHONE UP IN MY FACE!!! I called both QUALITY PEST SERVICES, Inc and ECOLA and spoke to management. BOTH managers defended Jose and those workers and insisted that “someone off the street” must have “broken in” and stole my property. I asked them how was this possible when the house was locked up and Jose gave no mention that he found the house broken into when he arrived to remove the tent??? They had no answer for that. Still maintaining that “someone else” must be responsible. I’ve filed a police report and plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau! DO NOT USE QUALITY PEST SERVICES, Inc if you ever need your home fumigated!! And no matter what company you use, DO NOT HAND YOUR KEYS OVER TO ANYONE!! Do NOT leave your home with them in there unsupervised. You stay and set your house alarm ( if you have one). YOU lock your own doors and keep your keys yourself!! When they need to remove the tent, let them call or text you, and then you go and unlock your own door. Obviously my house was not burglarized by “some stranger walking or driving by”. But neither ECOLA nor QUALITY PEST SERVICES, Inc are holding any of these employees accountable. Beware of the thievery that goes on with these fumigation companies!!!”

“My HOA and I were very disappointed in Quality Pest Services in 2021. Alan Springer from Springer Termite Solutions referred us to QPS for termite fumigation. In the process, they broke our neighbor's window and destroyed one of our gutters. They refused to replace the gutter, despite video proof. Anyway, that's not the worst of it. The fumigation didn't work! The next year, we found reproductive termites on our chimneys (which are very high up so they couldn't have come from anywhere else). For those who don't know, reproductive termites only come out when a colony has been there for 5+ yrs. So that means they weren't killed in the fumigation. When we asked someone to come and spray the chimneys, there was constant finger pointing between them and Alan, with them needing him to be there to confirm. After a month and half, a rep from QPS and Alan finally came out.  By that time, who knows how many more the termites spread.. Anyway, it was impossible to get either party to take accountability and they refused despite proof. Eventually we had to complete a big expensive chimney wood removal project because the fumigation didn't kill the termites. DO NOT hire Quality Pest Services or Springer Termite Solutions / Alan Springer, unless you want to damage your building for an ineffective and wildly expensive fumigation.”
