“We live in a Co-Op in Queens that we own. We are very clean..no dishes, no excess food stuff, etc lying around. But it's an old apartment and we cannot control how clean/dirty our neighbors keep their apartments. We experienced a significant increase in roach sightings over the past 18 months (despite having been here 16 + years). We tried everything and finally gave up. We called Rest Easy Pest and they explained the treatment options available. They didn't upsell despite the fact that I am so fed up with the roaches and wanted the most aggressive (expensive) service tier. The sales agent suggested that we not go overboard...get their cheapest plan and if needed to be upgraded...we could do so later on a pro-rated basis. The exterminator (Andrew). arrived on time and went to work. I timed his arrival with the removal and replacement of a 16 year old dishwasher expecting to find a roach infestation behind the old dishwasher (moist, dark, damp area). I was right. It was bad. The exterminator thoroughly treated the area and even helped remove the infested old dishwasher before the roaches spread into the apartment. We had a follow up treatment planned planned a month later. Andrew was really knowledgeable and prepared. In my opinion he went beyond the call of duty. Ten days later, the roaches began reappearing in different parts of the apartment where we hadn't seen them before. They were smaller. I feared that we had simply made them run from the kitchen area to a new location in the apartment and called Rest Easy back. I offered to pay full price for an additional out of schedule treatment. I didn't care. Rest Easy said an additional payment was not necessary and returned 5 days later to give the apartment another thorough treatment (15 days post the first one). Kevin arrived and he was also super thorough and clearly knew what he was doing. While I cannot say with certainty that the treatments have had a meaningful impact on the roach issue (only 2 treatments thus far and we will probably need at least 4-5 before a meaningful decrease in sightings....)...I can unequivocally state that thus far....Rest Easy and their staff have been super professional, on time, and patient. We will never truly win the battle against roaches...but having Rest Easy Pest certainly improves the odds of "success".”
