“This company is a scam! Guy came to my door trying to sell me, I stated that I wouldn't need a year of service just through the summer months. He said to sign up for the year and I would get the first service at $99 and then I could cancel at any time without any penalty. I asked " so I would only be charged for the services I receive correct? I am not locked into an entire year right? He stated no sir, you are not locked into a full year if you cancel." Well here we are and when I try and cancel, Kaitlyn argues with me and says " did you read over your entire agreement?" So what she means is did I read all of the fine print. Now she says I am on the hook for the entire year and need to pay another $393 of services that I never received. This is such a scam and I will notify my HOA and the city of Eureka, Mo to let them know exactly what type of company is screwing people over in our neighborhood and our city. Oh, and by the way, they call themselves Joshua's pest control but when you call they answer as Moxie pest control. Another red flag.”

“Terrible experience. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM FOR PEST CONTROL. The treatment does not work at all. There has been zero difference in the amount of gnats, stink bugs, ants, spiders, etc. They promised big and delivered nothing. The sales person told me that all my neighbors use them and I believed it. I later asked them and they do not. The customer service is non-existent. They will come out for repeat services (that still do nothing) but after that, you cannot get ahold of a real person. They text and call to sell additional services but cannot assist with service issues. I feel sorry for the techs that come out because they get the brunt of it but they are unable to speak to anything off their given script.”

“The customer service, technicians, and sales reps are very nice and courteous. However, we were quoted mosquito treatment when we signed the 12 month contract (the only reason I agreed as that's not included with my existing pest company). After 5 months of service, I have seen no sign of a difference than last year when I had no service with Joshua. I called to cancel (understanding there is an early cancel fee) and the lady said mosquito services are in a "different package" (more expensive). I informed her that is not what I was told. Anyway, after canceling regardless, they also canceled my termite inspection that I already paid for in my quarterly payment. So, basically, I spent roughly $600 on nothing. It's my fault. I should've known better. We always end up going back to Pestshield who we've had zero issues with. Buyer beware.”
